Yves von Ballmoos is a former Amateur-Jockey, and now active as Show jumper and skikjöring driver. He is married to Mariann, proud father of Andri (2004) and Gian (2008) and CEO & owner of Zingg-Lamprecht Ldt, the leading design furniture store in Switzerland.

Yves was President of the Swiss Gentlemen-Riders Association from 1999 until 2006, member of the board of the Swiss Jockey Club and is member of the board of the FEGENTRI since 1999.
